About Tami Applegate

I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Nevada since 1996 and have over 30 years experience in the mental health field in Nevada and California. I am a seasoned therapist who has worked for the government, nonprofit mental health agencies, adult and adolescent treatment programs and psychiatric hospitals. In addition to my Henderson private practice, I worked for 16 years in the Las Vegas area for child welfare government agencies as a therapist for abused and/or neglected children and their families. My private practice has been operating in Henderson since the year 2000.

My areas of experience are grief and loss, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, relationship concerns, divorce, work stress, codependency, trauma, victims of abuse, women's and men's issues, gay and lesbian concerns, and adoption. I provide individual counseling for adults. I provide a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental counseling environment for my clients to assist them in improving their lives and emotional well-being.

Education and License
I have a Master of Science Degree in Counseling. I received my Master's Degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1991.
